Tips & support
Use and care
Simple habits that help your battery last longer.
Charging and use
Use a matching charger. Standby use: 13.6–13.8 V. Cycle use: 14.5–14.9 V (at 25 °C).
Avoid deep discharge. Try not to go below 50% to protect cycle life.
Keep it cool. Heat shortens life and raises self-discharge.
Check connections. Keep terminals tight and clean.
Storage and safety
Store charged. Charge to 100% and top up every three months.
Keep it upright. Never place the battery upside down.
Avoid short circuits. Never let metal touch both terminals.
Match batteries. Use the same model and age when connecting several.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is the best way to place and store the battery?▲
Keep it upright. It can lie on its side only if there is a special reason, and never upside down. Store it in a cool, dry place and make sure it is fully charged before storing, then recharge it after three months.
Can I discharge the battery to 0%?▲
No. To avoid shortening its cycle life, try not to discharge below 50%. When not in use, charge it to 100% before storing and recharge it after three months.
Which capacity should I choose?▲
Add up the power and hours of use you need. The range runs from 7 Ah (84 Wh) to 200 Ah (2400 Wh), all at 12 V.
Does it need maintenance?▲
No. The battery is sealed and maintenance-free, so there is no water refilling.
Can I connect batteries together?▲
Yes. Identical 12 V batteries can be wired in series for 24 V or 48 V, or in parallel for more capacity. Use batteries of the same model and age.
